Department of Environment Studies

Department of Environment Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh organised an expert talk on 17/09/2024  by  distinguished Emiretus Professor Prof. Yutaka Matsumi at the Institute for Space- Earth Environment Research, Nagoya University, Japan. His talk focussed on various aspects of air quality and aerosol research. He elaborated upon environmental monitoring through sensors for carbon monoxide, PM 2.5 and ozone. The talk highlighted various technologies adopted by India in joint project  AKASH  between the Ministry of India and Japan government. Dr. Suman Mor welcomed the team members Takayuki Yamazaki and Dr. Rajeev kumar chairperson of DEVS, gave vote of thanks.
